AWARD: TROPHY

ORIGINAL QUALIFYING CARDS MUST ACCOMPANY THIS FORM AND CANNOT BE USED FOR ANY OTHER PERPETUAL AWARD

  1. Competition is open to all entrants in Obedience Trials, which are conducted by an Affiliate of Dogs NSW. The scores must be from Trials, which are unrestricted, that is, they must be All Breeds Trials and not Breed or Group Trials. Both Main and Associate Register dogs and bitches may compete for this Award.
     
  2. This competition is conducted on points allocated by judges in the Novice, Open and Utility sections.
     
  3. Only the seven (7) best scores on NSW cards will be taken into the consideration of the final points. For the purpose of this award the first trial will the Dogs NSW State Titles trial on 01/10/2007 and the last trial Blacktown Dog Training Club on 20/09/08.
     
  4. Original Qualifying cards and a completed prescribed form with the scores added) must be handed in to the State Titles Secretary not later than 7.00 pm on Saturday October 4, 2008. Cards must be collected at the trophy presentation.
     
  5. The competitor who has submitted seven (7) qualifying cards, under seven (7) different judges, with the highest aggregate (maximum 1400) will be declared the winner. The prize will be presented at 6.00pm on Sunday October 5, 2008 prior to the start of the 2008 NSW Obedience State Titles.
     
  6. In the event of two or more competitors submitting qualifying cards totalling the same figure, the ultimate winner will be decided as follows:
     
    • the one who has the highest score in any of the seven (7) trials
       
    • if both are still the same, the highest scores will then be added together until there is an outright winner
       
  7. There are no entry fees.
     
  8. If a dog is entered in two events at the one Trial, the competitor can only submit one qualifying card, not two. The competitor can, however, enter another trial that evening and submit another card.
     
  9. It is hoped that the previous winner will be on hand to present the trophy to the new winner.
