ROBERT AND MARGARET McGARVEY NOVICE DOG OF THE YEAR AWARD

- Competition is open to all entrants of trials conducted by an affiliate of the Dogs NSW. These must be from Trials which are unrestricted, that is they must be All Breed Trials and not Breed or Group Trials. Both Main and Associate Register dogs and bitches may compete for this award.
- It will be awarded to the dog or bitch that has the highest score from three (3) New South Wales Novice Trials.
- Scores must be from three (3) different judges.
- The best three (3) qualifying NSW score cards and the completed prescribed form must be handed to the State Titles Trial Secretary (or nominee) no later than 7.00 pm on Saturday October 4, 2008.
- In the event of two or more competitors submitting the same total figure the ultimate winner will be decided as follows:
- The one with the highest score in any of the three trials
- If the scores are still the same, then the highest score will decide the winner
- If the scores are still the same then the highest placings will decide the winner
- The trophy will be presented before the start of the NSW Obedience State Titles on Sunday October 5. 2008.
- For the purpose of the competition the first trial eligible will be NSW State Titles on 01/10/07 and the last trial the Blacktown Dog Training Club Trial on 20/09/2008.
