The following events are competed for during the long weekend of the NSW State Obedience Titles.
- The State Titles Medallions
- Competition is open to all Main and Associate Register dogs and bitches in Novice, Open, Utility and Utility Dog Excellent Classes.
- Community Companion Dogs will compete for a CCD Award.
- The medallions are competed for over the State Titles Weekend, which encompass the NSW Obedience Trial on Saturday October 4 and the NSW Obedience State Titles on Sunday October 5.
- Handlers must obtain a qualifying score and be placed no lower than 5th place in class in each trial to be eligible.
- Scores are computed as follows:
- 1 point for a first place
- 2 points for a second place
- 3 points for a third place
- 4 points for a fourth place
- 5 points for a fifth place
- Prizes will be a gold medallion for first, a silver medallion for second and a bronze medallion for third.
- In the event of a tied score (two dogs on the same computed score)
- the dog with the highest total aggregate score will be declared the winner
- If the competitors are still tied each dog will carry out an off lead heeling exercise judged by a State Titles Judge
- There is no entry form, all dogs are deemed to have entered.
- There are no entry fees.
- Community Companion Dog Awards
- Community Companion Dog Awards will be awarded on the highest total aggregate score over the two trials.
- The two highest total aggregate CCD scores from the trial on the Saturday October 4 and the State Titles on Sunday October 5 will receive a CCD award.
- If there is a tied score the CCD dog with the highest ring placing at the State Titles on Sunday October 5 will be the winner.
- There is no entry form, all dogs are deemed to have entered.
- There are no entry fees.
